James V. Carnahan, Ph.D., P.E.
Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences
Dr. Carnahan is a retained consultant who is an adjunct professor in the Department of General Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has served as the course chairman of the nationally recognized industry sponsored Senior Project Design. His research interests and published articles include statistical analysis of manufacturing processes, statistical quality control, maintenance of deteriorating systems, life cycle cost analysis, quality function deployment, and design of experiments. Dr. Carnahan earned his degrees in engineering sciences from Purdue University and has industrial experience with General Motors. He is a registered professional engineer.
